Parsons is looking for a talented Junior Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our growing team! In this role you will operate cybersecurity tools to include a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution, Vulnerability scanner, and endpoint security for multiple Department of Defense (DoD) programs. The Junior ISSE will work under the direction of the Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) to ensure correct configuration and deployment of various the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of multiple computer systems. This is a multi-tasking environment that demands technical proficiency, customer service, communication, and organizational skill. This is a hybrid role that requires three (3) days on-site at our Colorado Springs location. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Active Secret security clearance. DoD Directive 8140 IAT Level II or higher certification. 2+ years' experience as an ISSE, operating SIEM tools, Vulnerability scanners, and/or Endpoint Security solutions. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Experience operating Trellix/McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO). Experience operating Tenable Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS). Experience operating LogRhythm. Microsoft Azure environment and security tool operation experience. Experience with Communications Security (COMSEC). Experience with implementing Zero Trust capability solutions. Security Clearance Requirement: An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
