Salary: KCERA Network Engineer: $2,213.71 - $2,645.59 Biweekly KCERA Senior Network Engineer: $3,217.91 - $3,845.70 Biweekly Examinations: Appraisal (Weight 100%): Will be conducted to evaluate training, education, experience, interest, and personal fitness. The appraisal may include investigation, oral exam, and/or application review. Qualified candidates will be notified of the testing date five days prior. Applicants must score at least 70% on each phase. Minimum Qualifications / Employment Standards KCERA Network Engineer Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree, including 15 semester (25 quarter) units in computer science or management information systems AND one (1) year of paid experience in a complex IT environment. OR completion of 60 semester (90 quarter) units with relevant coursework AND three (3) years of paid experience. OR five (5) years of paid experience in a similar IT environment. KCERA Senior Network Engineer Graduation with a bachelor's degree and 4 years of paid experience OR completion of 60 semester units and 6 years of paid experience OR 6 years of relevant experience OR 3 years as a KCERA Network Engineer. Qualifying experience must be within the last five (5) years.
