What You'll Do:
- Develop Relationships: Build and maintain strong ties with utility, industrial, engineering, and contractor clients.
- Drive Solutions: Work with leading manufacturers to match their products to customer needs, including equipment upgrades, outage material support, and major capital projects.
- Own Your Territory: Manage and grow your assigned region, traveling to customer sites (primarily within a 3-3.5-hour drive) and maintaining up-to-date CRM records and reporting for manufacturers.
- Collaborate: Partner closely with suppliers, representative firms, and internal sales engineers to win multi-territory projects.
- Strategize: Advise leadership on pricing, bid strategies, and industry trends to position the company competitively.
- Champion Safety: Conduct yourself professionally and safely at all times, in alignment with our culture of integrity and respect.
- Innovate and Solve: Contribute to a culture of creativity, proactive problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5 years in a technical B2B sales role, preferably in industrial equipment, power generation, utilities, water treatment, mining, aggregates, US Navy, or related fields.
- Comfortable working in operating plants - walking stairs, navigating industrial environments, and working safely around heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent listening skills to determine issues and match solutions.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to travel (some overnight stays for training, meetings, or customer visits).
- Must pass a background check, drug screening.
- Team player, positive personality, and lead with a professional attitude.

- Base Salary Uncapped Commission: First 18 months includes guaranteed commissions (Base compensation is $80K Uncapped commission).
