This is a contingent position based upon contract win. Responsibilities SkyePoint Decisions, Inc. is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer for a proposal effort. This position is considered key personnel on the program. This is an onsite position based in Bethesda, MD, and requires the candidate to reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and management of cybersecurity initiatives. Develop and enforce security policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance. Strategic planning Security operations Risk management and compliance Incident response Team leadership Qualifications Required Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years of experience. Experience architecting and deploying tools to intercept and inspect network and email traffic, and in Endpoint technology for end-user workstations and servers. Knowledge of security industry best practices and standards, especially related to compromise assessments. Working knowledge of security software such as Tenable, Splunk, and BigFix. In-depth knowledge of security engineering, network engineering, penetration testing, and assessment of security controls. Ability to consult with customers at a high level and generate reports to track progress. Familiarity with HHS/DHS security policies/directives and continuous monitoring. Strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity threats and solutions. Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass the customer's background check.
