Description You will lead a team on challenging projects involving investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide range of electrical engineering issues to support single and multi-discipline projects.
The projects typically require multi-discipline interface and coordination.
Responsibilities include:
Leading efforts to ensure successful completion of electrical engineering project deliverables, meeting all technical, quality, financial, and project control expectations.
Initiating and communicating scope of work to team members.
Defining deliverables such as calculations, specifications, drawings, and design changes.
Reviewing progress and maintaining project scope and budget while keeping clients informed.
Conducting routine status meetings and submitting progress reports.
Tracking and resolving open items and emergent issues.
Coordinating the completion of project deliverables.
Leading detailed design phases, including interface and coordination with other disciplines.
Developing project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for complex electrical modifications, especially at nuclear power plants.
Preparing proposals for electrical modifications at nuclear facilities.
Providing technical oversight for activities such as design change packages, engineering calculations (including power studies, short circuit, voltage drop, etc.), equipment specifications, and bid evaluations.
Interfacing with clients to validate scope and ensure satisfaction.
Mentoring and guiding the group’s development.
Identifying client needs for strategic opportunities and leveraging relationships for follow-on work.
Preparing and coordinating multi-discipline proposals.
Qualifications Note: We do not sponsor work authorization in the U.S. for this role.
Essential skills and experience include:
A BSEE degree from an ABET-accredited program.
At least 12 years of experience designing electrical systems for nuclear power plants.
Minimum of 5 years leading an engineering design team through all project phases.
Experience in selecting equipment, preparing change packages, calculations, and specifications.
Experience as a firm or client liaison in a support or leadership role.
Knowledge of electrical system design, including low and medium voltage systems.
Effective communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office.
Attention to detail.
Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear station.
PE licensure is preferred.

Compensation Range $123,800.00 - $192,660.00
