We are excited to invite a Lead Substation Engineer to be a vital part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of high voltage utility substation projects, collaborating across various electric utility disciplines. In this Role, You Will Gain Experience In: Collaborating with local and national utility clients. Managing diverse projects ranging from distribution to transmission level voltages. Performing electrical power calculations and leading technical discussions across disciplines. Your Responsibilities: Lead the conceptual and detailed design of HV and MV substation projects, including layouts, electrical arrangements, and drawings. Oversee all aspects of project management, including design, staffing, schedule adherence, and budget management. Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to ensure project objectives are met. Mentor and guide a diverse team of engineers and technicians. Conduct quality control reviews on medium to large substation projects and enhance team efficiency. What You Bring: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Over eight (8+) years of hands-on experience in substation design. Preferred Qualifications: Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license. Master’s degree in a related discipline.
