Lead Network Engineer

We have a permanent position in Seal Beach, CA for a lead network engineer. You must have an active TS/SCI to apply. This role is 100% onsite. Details below. Duties:

• Support requirements analysis and documentation for network transport technologies and services (e.g., voice, video, data).
• Design documentation to meet architectural and security standards, customer requirements, while following industry best practices and tools.
• Utilize network analysis and monitoring tools to support preventative, proactive, and reactive maintenance activities in order to meet network availability objectives.
• Assist in research, development, and documentation of emerging technologies and techniques with past experience facilitating integration into existing systems as needed.
• Support implementation planning for multi-technology insertion projects, following established project management methodologies for the purpose of controlling costs and ensuring adherence to project plan.
• Position requires rotating on-call support and occasional shift/weekend work.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or equivalent discipline or equivalent years of experience. 5 years or more of experience supporting or leading network infrastructure (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Access Control Lists) projects. Experience with the maintenance of Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, command line interface and network protocols. Security certification. Ability to work on-call support and occasional shift/weekend work.
