Lead Process Engineer

As the Lead Process Engineer for this role, you will provide process leadership for the Personal Care businesses as a project discipline lead and support the transition of projects from development to commercialization. You have expertise across multiple manufacturing technologies or plant experience and have the ability to effectively provide work direction to a broad range of team members. In this position you will report to the Capital Engineering Manager responsible for capital execution and receive broad assignment objectives from them. Your key customers will include Sector Management, Project Sponsors, R&E project teams, Capital Project Teams, Research & Engineering, contracted Technical Service Providers, BCC Product Supply, and Plant Operations, Maintenance and Engineering Teams.
In this role, you will:
Lead or support capital projects that vary in scope and cost from less than $1MM to over $10MM that include Expansion and Rollouts for Personal Care product, technology and process improvements.
Follow Project Management Practices and manage all projects to meet or exceed project success criteria and timing, as well as provide subject matter expertise in one or more areas of the Project Management Practices and processes used for capital project execution.
Develop and apply LEAN capability to support continuous improvement strategies and activities as well as seek, recognize, define and solve problems to achieve unit objectives.
Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner, developing equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines and for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance and other personnel.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
5+ years of years of experience in various technical or operational assignments and are authorized to work in the United States.
Strong experience in engineering design, studies, reports, and capital project management with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project results within required timeframes.

Salary Range: 85,540 – 105,620 USD At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience.
