Lead Salesforce Engineer

A major client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a Lead Salesforce Engineer on a 6 month contract to potential extension/hire. This is a hybrid role out of Dublin, OH.
Key Responsibilities:
Spend 70% of your time coding, reviewing code, and developing Salesforce solutions. The remaining 30% will be dedicated to Salesforce architecture.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Analyzes detailed business, functional and high-level technical requirements to then design, develop, and implement robust salesforce solutions in collaboration with the Solution Architect on the team.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, ensuring reliability and performance.
Adhere to quality assurance and change management procedures including the documentation required for solution readiness and acceptance.
Code and test to meet the designs of objects and data exchanges for interfacing with Salesforce.
Collaborate and contribute to issue resolutions and gap mitigations to meet business & technical requirements.
Evaluate various technologies, develop proof of concept, and define the recommended solution. Be able to decide when to use out of the box features or go with customization or using app exchange products.
Work with internal IT partners and business stakeholders, develop and maintain enterprise application architecture strategies, designs and roadmaps.
Participate in project intake meetings and be able to come up with high level design, time and resource estimates.
Communicating findings to technical and non-technical colleagues.
Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning,3-Amigo calls, daily standups, and retrospectives.
Guide and mentor delivery team members, ensuring best practices are followed.

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
7+ years of experience in hands on coding. Strong programming skills in APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations and other Salesforce development tools
Proven experience as a Lead/Sr developer or Salesforce Architect.
Experience to design scalable, performance-driven solutions in Salesforce that meet business requirements
Familiarity with key design patterns and best practices for Salesforce implementations.
Experience with Salesforce configuration, data modeling, and customization to meet specific business requirements.
Experience in designing and implementing APIs (REST/SOAP).
Working experience in Agile methodologies, JIRA and deployment tools like GitHub.
Salesforce Certifications- Verified via Trailhead

SFDC Admin Certifications
App Builder
Salesforce Sales Cloud / Service Cloud / Marketing Cloud Consultant Certifications. null
