Your Role Join our Machine Learning Model Platform team as a Lead Software Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will actively lead and execute key objectives, focusing on robust Matching and Recommendation systems. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing high-performance, reusable components that empower hundreds of ML practitioners to turn research into tangible production results. You will work at the interface of software engineering and machine learning, building foundational technologies that support various ML model strategies with superb performance and scalability. Collaborating closely with Data Scientists, you will address their needs, guide technical design decisions, enhance workflow efficiency, and support their goals. Your contributions will also influence the evolution of our tech stack to remain aligned with the latest industry advancements. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and enhancement of complex platform components, including the model platform portal.

Develop and optimize scalable components for the entire machine learning lifecycle.

Design new solutions, assess trade-offs, and validate ideas through prototyping and experimentation.

Integrate and streamline essential ML systems, such as serving, feature stores, and observability platforms.

Mentor engineers in their technical growth and advocate for best practices.

Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Infrastructure teams to develop platform capabilities and guide overall architecture.

Essential Skills and Competencies Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Over 6 years of professional software engineering experience, including work with complex and large-scale systems.

Proficient in Python and modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch and Triton.

Experience with AWS SageMaker or other cloud-based machine learning platforms.

Full-stack engineering expertise.

Proven ownership and accountability for technical outcomes and system quality.

Strong collaboration and communication abilities, with a capacity to influence technical direction across teams.
