Description Your primary responsibilities will include developing machine learning technologies, implementing, optimizing, and integrating them into our products. This will entail close collaboration with various functional teams across Apple. You will work with product teams to define problems, prototype, integrate, and optimize algorithms tailored to hardware capabilities, and engage with the silicon team for neural network optimization. Minimum Qualifications BS degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience Proven ability in developing machine learning algorithms for computational photography, computer vision, and image processing Proficiency with ML toolkits such as PyTorch Strong programming skills in Python or C/C++ Preferred Qualifications Track record in machine learning for image and video processing, demonstrated through industry experience or publications in top-tier conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, SIGGRAPH) Experience in image restoration techniques like de-noising, super-resolution, and enhancement Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Knowledge of camera sensors and ISP algorithms is a plus Experience transitioning technology from prototype to product is a plus Expertise in generative AI is a plus Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this role is $147,400 to $272,100, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
