Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's [or Master's] degree or equivalent years of work experience in a related field. Ideally 7-10 years of experience as a Storage Engineer focused on a large z/OS SMS environment. Strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing. Technical Skills: Hardware: Dell EMC PMAX8000, Hitachi VSP, IBM Tape (Virtualization, Libraries and Media), Replication Switches (Brocade 6510's & 7840's). Software: Dell EMC's SDSF & GDDR, Hitachi BCM Manager. IBM System Managed Storage (SMS) concepts. DFSMShsm, DFSMSdss, DFSMSdfp Utilities (IEBGENER, IEBCOPY, etc.), ICKDSF, Access Method Services (AMS), Object Access Method (OAM), ICF (Integrated Catalog Facility), ISMF, MVS JCL, TSO/ISPF. IBM Tape tools (including VMA, VEHSTATS), RMM Tape Management System.
