Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Become the expert level owner of a suite of manufacturing equipment in Keysight’s semiconductor manufacturing areas, specializing in either dry etch or lithography. Drive the capital acquisition process for manufacturing equipment. Develop preventive maintenance and repair procedures. Lead equipment repair escalations and oversee maintenance activities. Perform emergency repairs in a manufacturing environment as needed. Coordinate vendor service visits for corrective and preventive maintenance. Drive hardware improvements and automation projects. Collaborate closely with process engineers and operators to support both volume production and R&D process development.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related field. Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and solve complex problems independently. Proficiency with CAD modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX). Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics. Motivation to pursue a hands-on, engineering career. Strong desire to learn new skills and tackle novel challenges. Engineering experience in a manufacturing or other technical environment. Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in engineering or a closely related field. Proficiency in a common programming language (e.g., Python, C/C++). Experience using SQL for database interaction and data analysis. Background in lithography or dry etch within the semiconductor industry. Experience in chemical or high-hazard manufacturing environments. Technical project management experience. Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Experience with automation platforms (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, or scripting for tool automation). Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis techniques. Hands-on experience with chemical or gas delivery systems. Strong documentation and technical writing skills. Proficiency in structured troubleshooting methodologies such as 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Fishbone diagrams.
