Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineer with a focus on software and electrical engineering to join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software and embedded systems across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in software testing, business analysis, and Agile project delivery, with a passion for continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
What you get to do:
- Problem-solve test plans, test cases, and test suites for software and embedded systems.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as Jira, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into detailed test documentation and quality assurance protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and business analysts to ensure product readiness.
- Support the implementation of Agile practices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Evaluate product performance post-release using analytics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain quality documentation including functional requirements documents (FRD), product requirement documents (PRD), and mock-ups.
- Provide training and mentorship to new team members on QA processes and tools.
- Risk minimization through use of appropriate risk assessment tools and verification of the robustness of detection and prevention systems for special characteristics.
- Support the development and maintenance of FMEA's and control plans.
- Support the definition of quality processes and technical standards in cooperation with development, product management, and manufacturing to ensure product quality.
- Support the planning and evaluation of product test drives within quality and approvals of functions and systems.
- Provide quality support to the technical and manufacturing teams, as well as drive/support daily operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the team:
- Higher Diploma in Software Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, and business analysis.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
- Proficiency in QA tools such as Jira, YouTrack, and test management platforms.
- Experience with cross-platform testing and bug tracking.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level (preferred).
- PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner (preferred).
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with global collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for cross-functional collaboration.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain rigorous quality documentation.
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments and willingness to innovate in quality assurance technologies.
