This is an on site position requiring candidates to be based in Hudson, Ma with the ability to commute to the office 5 days per week.

The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for maintaining existing product design and drawings, including future revisions and CAD format upgrades. Assist with current and future engineering development work, product design verification testing, and support the test lab (Resolute Technologies) in product function and reliability testing.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Additional duties may be assigned. Possesses strong 3D modeling skills, preferably in SolidWorks. Demonstrates knowledge of connectors and cable assemblies. Capable of transforming a conceptual design into reality. Conducts product testing and creates models and prototypes. Applying engineering principles effectively. Designs and develops new products and collaborates with patent attorneys for patents and patent clearances. Leads projects and develop detailed project plans. Coordinates with the supply chain and establishes timelines for sample and parts delivery schedules. Exhibits excellent communication skills – interfaces effectively with other engineers, non-technical personnel, and customers.
