Will lead the design, development, and optimization of parts and components for advanced robotics systems, as well as ability in CAD programs to create intricate designs that meet functional requirements while emphasizing manufacturability and ease of production; will implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles throughout the design process, ensuring that designs go through manufacturing efficiently without compromising quality or functionality, and evaluate design options to enhance ease of assembly and reduce production costs; will oversee the prototyping and testing phases by actively taking part in the creation of prototypes and conducting thorough tests to confirm the functionality, performance, and durability of designed components; will continuously seek opportunities for design enhancement and innovation, and stay updated on emerging technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to implement improvements in design methodologies at the company; will engage in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to possible mechanical design issues, as well as find and address any design flaws or performance issues that may arise during the testing or implementation phases; will ensure the seamless integration of mechanical components into the overall robotics systems by working closely with cross-functional teams within the company, including electrical engineers, other software developers, and project managers; will keep detailed documentation of design concepts and specifications, testing procedures, and results, while effectively communicating design concepts and specifications to various stakeholders, while also supporting compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the design and development lifecycle. The experience and education requirements are: Two years of work experience required. Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems and Industrial Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering, or related major required.
