RCI Offroad is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer I to contribute to the design and development of innovative off-road products. In this role, you will apply your engineering expertise to create high-quality designs, conduct analysis and testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring exciting new products to market. The ideal candidate possesses a solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles, proficiency in SolidWorks, and a passion for the off-road industry. Responsibilities:

Design and Development: Design and develop components and assemblies for off-road vehicle accessories, utilizing SolidWorks to create 3D models, detailed drawings, and technical specifications. Conduct engineering analysis (e.g., stress analysis, tolerance analysis) to ensure product performance, durability, and safety. Participate in prototyping and testing activities to validate designs and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation. Contribute to the development of installation instructions and other customer-facing materials. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other engineers, designers, and technicians to ensure seamless product development. Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback. Problem Solving and Innovation: Analyze technical challenges and develop creative solutions to overcome design obstacles. Identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation. Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and competitive products. Requirements Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 0-5 years of engineering experience, preferably in new product design. Proficiency in SolidWorks and familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and technical writing abilities. Sound organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Familiarity with welding, sheet metal forming processes, and basic manufacturing equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
