Mechanical Engineer Sr

You will be the engineer for the Integrated Air & Defense-AP and Tactical Missile/precision fires team. Our team is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of innovative solutions, ensuring the highest quality and precision in our engineering designs.

What You Will Be Doing As the engineer, you will be responsible for performing checking functions to support our engineering teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and methodologies. You will play a critical role in verifying the accuracy and completeness of engineering drawings and models. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing drawing check functions for mechanical and electronic packaging engineering drawings and specifications
• Conducting tolerance stack up verifications and verifying model and drawing consistency
• Validating models against Model Based Definition (MBD) and methodology using CREO
• Reviewing and documenting the checking process, including format, specification compliance, completeness, accuracy, and soundness
• Applying knowledge of fabrication, installation, and assembly techniques, interface validity, tolerance analysis, and ASME Y14.5 GD&T

This position is in Grand Prairie, TX. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
