Thar Energy has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join its team, focused on equipment with moving parts (pumps, expanders, etc.), pressure vessels, and compact heat exchangers.

Job responsibilities may include: Evaluate, analyze, and improve existing manufacturing processes Research, design, test and implement manufacturing processes for new products Work with outside vendors to implement and test existing and new manufacturing processes Prepare product and process manufacturing reports Conduct quality control programs Design products for manufacturability Use verbal and written communication skills to work both independently and in team environments

Requirements include: Bachelors degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering track CAD/CAM, 2D and 3D solid modeling experience such as SolidWorks or equivalent Good communication skills, both written and oral Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Preferred characteristics include: Manufacturing interest with heat exchangers, heat exchange systems, and high-pressure vessels and components Design, installation, and implementation of automation equipment for assembly of industry machinery

Self-starter who enjoys working in a small company environment with a wide degree of creativity and opportunity for growth working and developing new technologies
