Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve client issues involving:
- Domains and user accounts
- Email systems
- Printing and imaging
- Computer and laptop setup
- Server management and configuration
- Domains and user accounts
- Deliver support via remote sessions, phone calls, and onsite visits
- Travel to client locations primarily within Woodstock and surrounding areas
- Manage mid-level projects independently from start to finish
- Serve as an escalation point for Tier 1 engineers
- Provide support and mentorship to junior team members
- Stay current with and implement new technologies as needed
- Document resolutions, maintain organized records, and manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Adapt quickly to changing tasks and priorities
- Contribute positively to team goals and company growth through a hands-on, solutions-focused mindset
- Preferred Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ (or equivalent)
- 35 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network troubleshooting
- Strong experience with Windows environments (including Windows Server 2016+)
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RDS, etc.

- Proficiency with networking concepts: VLANs, routing tables, VPNs
- Hands-on experience with firewalls (pfSense, Fortigate, Sophos, SonicWall, etc.)
- Clear, confident communication with clients and team members
- Ability to manage tickets and projects independently with deadlines
- Experience in customer-facing roles strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools is a plus
- Willingness to work additional hours as needed (potentially compensated)
