George Consulting is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support a Systems Integration Test and Evaluation (SITE) Integrated Product Team (IPT) with systems engineering efforts for the TacMobile program. Candidate will work closely with the P-3 and P-8 platform interfaces as well as the Global Command and Control System (GCCS).

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain MBSE models using SysML/UML in Cameo Systems Modeler.
  • Apply DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF/UAF) and MBSE best practices to support requirements analysis, system design, verification, and validation.
  • Integrate MBSE tools and methods into the broader systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including software, hardware, and test engineers.
  • Translate capability needs into structured system models that trace requirements through design and implementation.
  • Generate model-based documentation including Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Functional Flow Block Diagrams (FFBDs), and sequence diagrams.
  • Support stakeholder reviews and technical interchange meetings (TIMs) with model-based visualizations.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD standards and program-specific modeling guidance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Able to collaborate with other contractor teammates and customers on a daily basis.
  • Able to work closely with customers to ensure deliverables meet their expectations and arrive in a timely manner.
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ACTIVE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE SECRET SECUIRTY CLEARANCE.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3–7+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on MBSE.
  • Proficiency in SysML, UML, and Cameo Systems Modeler/MagicDraw.
  • Experience with DoDAF/UAF, JCIDS processes, and defense acquisition lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with DoD MBSE strategies (e.g., OSD Digital Engineering Strategy).
  • Strong understanding of system requirements, architecture, and design traceability.
  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
