Your Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the upkeep of our machinery, ensuring optimal electrical operation to enhance performance. Your key responsibilities will include safe mechanical support, conducting preventative maintenance, performing timely repairs, troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical issues, and resolving any operational concerns in our industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Repair, modify, and install machinery to ensure facility operations run smoothly.
- Work in various environments, including confined spaces and elevated platforms.
- Proactively troubleshoot equipment, performing proof tests to prevent issues.
- Develop and implement solutions to problems, focusing on root causes.
- Maintain control systems and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic effectively.
- Accurately maintain all required documentation and reports.
- Use technical documents, blueprints, and schematics to guide manual tasks.
Qualifications
- Advanced electrical knowledge, particularly in wiring schematics, AC/DC motor repairs.
- Strong background in manufacturing mechanical work, including maintenance tasks such as greasing bearings.
- Proficient in conduit work and electrical installations.
- Experience working with PLCs, VFDs, and other control systems.
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, with up to 5 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Range: $60,000 - $95,000 annually
