A growing organization in South Jersey is looking to hire a Senior System Administrator to work in their Linux environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of IT hardware, software, and networks to ensure operational efficiency and security. Duties include performing data backup operations in compliance with recovery objectives, applying timely security patches, evaluating and recommending emerging technologies, and configuring IT systems for secure and scalable performance. They are looking for someone who has technical expertise in RHEL-based Linux, scripting, languages, and VMware. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of relevant professional background and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. This role also involves leadership in IT projects, mentoring junior engineers, and managing virtual infrastructures for high availability and resource efficiency. This is a contract to hire role and is fully onsite.
