A health services organization in Alabama is seeking a new Cisco Network Engineer to join their team in Birmingham.

Responsibilities:

The Cisco Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the organization's data network using primarily Cisco networking hardware and software.

Qualifications:

7+ years of proficiency in network/infrastructure engineering and/or technical infrastructure support role in LAN/WAN/WLAN administration Experience and demonstrated proficiency of the following: LAN/WAN/WLAN/SDN technologies Experience with Data Center and Wireless technologies with a mobile presence Cisco Nexus series switches experience (9,300 9500, 9600) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and manage several independent projects simultaneously Significant and successful experience in designing various IT solutions and implementation Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Experience in a Healthcare setting Experience working in an environment where HIPAA and NIST compliance is in use Cybersecurity technologies specializing in NAC (Cisco ISE), DNA center, and Palo Alto NGFWs Experience with Cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
