We’re seeking a highly skilled Network Implementation Engineer & Team Trainer to join our dynamic and growing Implementation team—a tight-knit group of innovators deploying high-impact network solutions across the globe.
This hybrid role blends hands-on engineering with leadership and training. You’ll lead complex network implementations, collaborate with international customers, and help shape the future of our global operations through mentorship and knowledge development.
What You’ll Do
Lead full-cycle network implementations—from design to cutover
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and international customers
Manage WAN circuit activations and troubleshoot complex issues
Create detailed cutover plans and maintain critical documentation
Mentor junior engineers and deliver technical training sessions
Author SOPs, playbooks, and implementation guides
Evaluate new tools and technologies and train the team on their use
Provide presales support and customer engagement
What You’ll Learn
How to distill complex concepts into accessible training materials
Best practices for mentoring and onboarding engineers
Advanced WAN and security technologies (BGP, NAT, VPN, DMVPN, ASA firewalls)
Global implementation experience in a service provider-class WAN
Leadership and customer communication through high-impact deployments
Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of relevant experience (or 5+ years with an advanced degree)
U.S. Citizenship (required for contract access)
5+ years configuring Cisco routers/switches in production WANs
Strong BGP routing and template-based configuration experience
Deep knowledge of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, NAT, VPN) and firewalls
Experience mentoring technical teams or delivering training
CCNA certification required, CCNP highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience diagnosing issues via packet captures or system logs
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Prior WAN implementation experience in large-scale environments
Experience developing structured training content and documentation
Work Environment
Onsite – 5 days/week in Annapolis, MD

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
