We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join a well-established and community-focused organization. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in firewall technologies and enterprise security practices who thrives in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain security policies, roadmaps, and strategies.

Create reusable security solutions and serve as a subject matter expert.

Implement preventative, detective, and corrective controls to protect company data.

Ensure data security, integrity, and accessibility across systems.

Collaborate with business and technical teams to align security with organizational goals.

Participate as a team member or leader on various security initiatives.

Provide expert guidance on enterprise-wide security projects.

Respond to threats against enterprise networks, hosts, and data on a 24/7 basis (on-call rotation: 2 weeks on, 8 weeks off; expect 3–5 calls during on-call periods).

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Checkpoint and AWS firewalls.

Expertise in application security, web content filtering, and email monitoring.

Familiarity with intrusion detection/prevention, malware prevention, and network security protocols.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Security certifications such as CISSP are a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $128000.00/yr.
