It supports the overall mission readiness of the Marine Corps by defending against cyber threats, ensuring operational security, and supporting the Marines in cyberspace operations worldwide./ppThe Network Unified Communications Design Engineer Senior will be responsible for:/pulliAssisting the Government Lead in the daily engineering duties on systems./liliEvaluating communication hardware and software, troubleshooting Local Area Network (LAN)/Base Area Network (BAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN) and other network related problems./liliProviding technical leadership in the integration and test of complex large-scale computer integrated networks./liliScheduling conversions and cutovers./li/ulpLocation: Pearl Harbor, Hawaii/ppAn active Secret clearance is required for eligibility for this position./ppRequired Skills:/pulliYears of experience: 10+ w/ Bachelors Degree, 13+ w/ High School Diploma/liliEducation: High School Diploma or greater/liliCertifications: Must possess Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Level III certification in one of the followings:/liliCisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)/liliCisco Certified Network Practitioner (CCNP)/liliCASP+ CE Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)/liliFortinet Certified Network Security Professional (FCNSP)/liliJuniper Networks Certified Specialist Security (JNCIP-SEC)/liliCertified Modeling Simulation Professional (CMSP), or equivalent Certification, or demonstrate sufficient experience in lieu of certification./li/ulpRequired Experience:/pulliPerform general Local Area Network (LAN)/Base Area Network (BAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN) administration./liliEvaluate and design communication hardware and software, troubleshoot LAN/BAN/WAN and other network related problems./liliDevelop and integrate identity and access management requirements./liliSupport engineering and design of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services./liliDesign configuration of auxiliary voice Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANS)./liliDesign configuration and operations of network devices, Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) interfaces, and fax modules supporting the voice system./liliManage Hardware, Software, network, and scheduling required for end users to conduct videoconferences on Department of Navy (DON), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal, or Commercial networks./liliIntegrate with standard Active Directory (AD) services plus the availability to use Windows Light Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) services for network devices and appliances./liliPerform Rights Management Services for administrators, users, and groups./liliDesign, Develop and Operate application networking ports and protocols, Information Assurance (IA), routing and LAN./liliPerform integration with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates and network accounts to support two-factor authentication for all AD domain account categories./liliDevelop customized multivendor solutions utilizing Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, and other vendor technologies./liliDevelop, update, track, and perform Internet Protocol (IP) scheme and address management./liliExperience with the performance, design, configuration, and testing of complex large-scale computer networks./liliExperience with Domain Name Server (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)./li/ul/div
