Duration: Work is estimated to last 3 to 6 months but may go longer. . Responsibilities: Serve as liaison with reactor core/system design team regarding auxiliary interfaces (e.g., Emergency Core Cooling, I&C, instrumentation). Clarify nuclear safety requirements for auxiliary systems integration. Analyze system behavior under accident and transient conditions. Contribute to licensing documentation and safety basis for auxiliary system interfaces. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nuclear Engineering. 3+ years working with PWR systems or SMR projects. Experience with safety analysis, regulatory documentation, and nuclear instrumentation. Familiarity with USNRC or DOE regulatory licensing processes. Preferred Qualifications: · Licensed Professional Engineer Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
