Opportunity Overview

LitePoint is a leading provider of wireless test solutions, we deliver cutting-edge products to the market faster. Located in San Jose, California, our HW design team thrives on innovation. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Hardware Engineer- Optics Photonics to act as a technical leader working on the design and the benchmark of new products.

This position offers hands-on experience, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and opportunities to contribute to future product innovations.

Roles & Responsibility:

System architecture: Participate in discussions about product definition, technology, and architecture.
Research: Explore new technologies and applications.
Equipment: Evaluate equipment for testing and benchmark for optical communication.
Specifications: Work with customer test requirements and create competitive specifications.
Test: Develop test plans and test scripts to bring up prototypes and models.

Minimum Job Requirements:

A bachelor's degree or higher in physics, electrical engineering, or related fields.

3 years of experience in:

Fundamental understanding of integrated photonics.
Fundamental understanding of high-speed data design.
Knowledge / experience with test requirements, techniques, and methods for manufacturing optical transceivers.
Experience working with integrated photonics chips or systems.
Experience working with test and measurement equipment in the relevant field.
Proven track record with optical communication devices.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $157 700 - $252 300. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
