Position: PL Cyber Security Project Engineer PLEASE NOTE: This position requires an ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph. To be considered, you MUST have an ACTIVE Clearance Level of Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph. Position Code: 27-SC0529-1 Description: The candidate shall provide expert-level security support and guidance to engineering and technical IT activities within the organization. Responsibilities include day-to-day oversight of all Information Assurance, Certification & Accreditation, and Assessment & Authorization activities. The role involves managing organizational efforts through the risk management cycle, coordinating and tracking risks, accreditation status, and reporting across project teams. Generate security plans as required and advocate for security in system/architecture changes. Assemble and submit C&A packages to the Principal Accreditation Authority/Designated Accreditation Authority. Coordinate C&A actions and system testing with security personnel. Maintain a document repository for C&A project documentation. Mandatory Skills: Minimum of eleven (11) years of experience in IT Program Management, security, information assurance, or engineering. Knowledge of Intelligence Community IA policies and regulations related to certification and accreditation. Strong technical skills and analytical ability. Good written and oral communication skills.
Optional Skills: Experience as an ISSO / ISSE / ISSM. Experience authoring and maintaining security documentation, including security mitigations and successful DCID 6/3 or ICD 503 accreditation. Experience navigating security and accreditation processes for IT systems to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO). Ability to generate security documentation for accreditation and address security shortfalls identified in reviews. Experience with XACTA, Greenlight Tool. PMP Certification. Knowledge of Customer PMF process. Knowledge of FISMA, DCID 6/3, ICD 503 standards. Understanding of IT development lifecycle. Familiarity with Customer organization and security-specific processes for IT systems and accreditation.
