Position Summary Ottawa, Hybrid

This is a customer-facing technical support position.

In this role, you will support our customers, including users, software developers, and product managers, providing programming support for our products.

This is NOT a PC / Network Technician or IT position.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Provide technical support, diagnose problems, and recommend workarounds to Thales Software Monetization customers via support portal, email, or phone.

Serve as the primary support liaison between the company and customers.

Convey customer feedback to product development teams.

Possess thorough knowledge of company’s Software Monetization products.

Manage customer expectations, patch deliveries, and upgrades.

Collaborate with Managed Services, Engineering, Product Management, and Professional Services teams to understand and support product customizations.

Work towards becoming a Product Champion.

Minimum Qualifications

Master or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

10+ years in a customer-facing technical support role with application support, troubleshooting, and debugging.

Experience with SaaS / Cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.

Deep understanding of SaaS products and integrated systems.

Knowledge of infrastructure services, protocols (HTTP, TCP/IP, REST), and troubleshooting tools.

Experience with Web Technologies and programming languages such as C/C++, C#, VB.NET, Python, or Java.

Familiarity with Visual Studio, Windows, Linux, SQL, and virtual environments.

Compensation & Benefits The Total Target Compensation (TTC) range is CAD 76,209 to 128,925 annually, depending on experience and skills. Thales offers comprehensive benefits including health, dental, retirement plans, paid holidays, and more.
