We develop software in C++ and Java utilizing agile software development methods. What You Will Do: Develop robust and scalable software in C++ or Java running Linux or UNIX operating systems using Agile development methods. Design, implement, debug and problem solve Radar Software Applications while providing feedback to other team members. Work in a team environment to understand end-user requirements and translate these into a pragmatic and effective technical solution. Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of experience. Experience with C++ and Java application code development and Linux/Unix. Broad real-time, multi-threaded software development experience. Experience developing software in a team-based development environment. Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer: Active Secret security clearance. Radar software development experience. Strong Object-Oriented Design knowledge. Knowledge of software testing methodologies (functional, integration, regression, performance, etc.) and best practices. Experience with bug tracking and test management tools. Experience with DOORS (Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System) or other requirements traceability tool. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively diagnose and address issues. The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
