Our client, a leader in the chemical engineering industry, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: Miamisburg, OH
What's the Job?
Proactively identify process operating problems and opportunities for improvements and develop innovative solutions.
Interact with plant personnel to assess needs and provide engineering support for production-related issues.
Document calculations and assumptions for equipment sizing based on production and business needs.
Manage project schedules and costs, ensuring timely communication of any deviations to management.
Support ongoing productivity, efficiency, and safety initiatives within the plant operations.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
4-9 years of relevant experience in process engineering.
Strong project management experience with the ability to lead smaller projects.
Proficiency in process design and documentation, including PI&Ds and energy balances.
Ability to evaluate customer requests and interpret regulatory requirements effectively.
