Provide model based analytical support to solve real problems in production
Collect process inputs and experimental observations to define the problems and deliverables
Apply rigorous scientific knowledge on flow, mass/heat transfer, electric and magnetic fields, chemical reactions to build detailed technical understanding of key process steps
Determine the technical approach and select the right modeling tools to solve the complex numerical problems
Work with process engineers for model validation and enhancement
Communicate model learnings and make recommendations to the process team
Write technical reports and documentations
Hours of work/work schedule/flextime:
40 hours per week, but requiring flexibility given the global project team
Required Education & Experience:
MS or Ph.D in electrical, mechanical, chemical engineering or related engineering disciplines
Required Years and Area of Experience:
0 years beyond graduate school
Travel Requirements:
? 25%, some international travel
Required Skills:
Strong fundamentals on physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, fluid dynamics, and mass/heat transfer
Experience with modeling software packages (ANSYS/Fluent, COMSOL and similar) or opensource codes
Knowledge of numerical modeling and methods
Work well in a team environment
Able to manage multiple tasks

2 years of work experiences in relevant fields
Knowledge of plasma
Knowledge of statistic mechanics
Data analysis and interpretation
Code development using Python or Matlab
Experience with process and product engineering
