Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Product Definition professional to support our Hot Section Engineering (HSE) organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting Design Analysts in modeling, drafting, and verifying engineering product definition, ensuring adherence to Product Definition ESW and alignment with design intent.
- Developing and defining fully parametric NX models in accordance with ASME and PW standards.
- Collaborating in a design-assist role with Design Engineering to develop HPC, LPC, and LPT components.
- Preparing, managing, and releasing various product-related data within Teamcenter/NX Manager for new designs, as well as Class I and Class II engineering activities.
- Providing mentorship and coaching by delivering training and guidance to junior Product Definition practitioners.
Qualifications you must have:
- A university degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in drafting, design, or mechanical product definition, or an advanced degree in a related discipline.
- 2 years of experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ASME Y14.5).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.

- Experience with BOAS & Airfoils.
- Experience with NX and Teamcenter.

Department/Segment Overview: The North Berwick Engineering Center (NBEC) organization is responsible for engineering activities for hardware throughout the gas turbine including the Fan/Low Pressure Compressor, High Pressure Compressor, Combustor, Low Pressure Turbine, High Pressure Turbine and Mechanical System modules across all of Pratt & Whitney's military and commercial products. NBEC is co-located with Pratt & Whitney's largest manufacturing facility where there is hands-on collaboration between manufacturing, assembly and engineering groups. This specific opportunity is to join our team of military turbine component designers.

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD.
