ABOUT THE POSITION
The Product Support Engineer is responsible for ongoing support of products before and after production launch.
Key Deliverables
· BOM’s for Aftermarket quotes.
· CAD drawings for Aftermarket parts orders.
· Technical engineering support to other departments.
· Electrical Engineering projects.
· PLC programs.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
· Researches the history and current state of the product evolution, resolution of production and Customer concerns.
· Coordinates engineering activities with purchasing and manufacturing.
· Apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
· Works with new and retrofit electrical wiring schematics to assure safe operations of equipment.
· Maintenance, improvements, and general support for existing products.
· Learn the functions and wiring for panel components and controls.
· Implementation of product improvements
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
· B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
· 2+ Years of Engineering experience
· Knowledge of electrical schematic and wiring diagrams.
· PLC programming experience a plus.
· Autodesk or Solidworks CAD experience a plus.
· Must be able to work on several projects at one time through changing priorities.
· Willingness to participate in a team-oriented environment.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Microsoft Office Skills
· Project Management
