What we are looking for
We’re looking for a driven Professional Engineer to help shape the future of Public Works in North Texas. You’ll dive into designing, modeling and master planning for public clients, and work to develop technical solutions for challenging public works designs to service our communities, bringing technical know-how, a collaborative spirit, and a knack for building strong relationships.

Responsibilities
What you get to do:
Lead and innovate —plan and conduct independent evaluations, adapting and refining standard engineering methods to meet project-specific challenges.
Ensure technical excellence and compliance —apply your knowledge of regulatory codes and use advanced engineering software to deliver high-quality, compliant designs.
Drive project success —contribute to engineering efforts across disciplines, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional results.
Be a problem solver —analyze complex challenges, develop creative solutions, and continue growing your technical expertise.
Mentor and develop junior staff —share knowledge, provide guidance, and communicate ideas clearly to help develop the next generation of engineers.
Work independently with confidence —handle assignments with minimal supervision, managing tasks from start to finish while aligning with project goals.
Build relationships —begin developing a deeper understanding of client needs and decision-making processes, fostering connections both inside and outside the organization.
Collaborate and coordinate —supervise or coordinate the work of other professionals supporting your projects, ensuring seamless teamwork and project delivery.
Qualifications
What you will bring:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
4+ years’ experience in the field or a related area
Valid driver’s license
Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)
We would love if you had, but not required:
Direct experience with Public Works or Municipal style projects (roadway, stormwater, water/wastewater, etc)
Technical experience in AutoCad Civil3D
