Job Position: Project Engineer - Plumbing Our client is an industry leader in the design, installation, and service of HVAC, refrigeration, process piping, building automation and plumbing systems. They are currently seeking a dedicated Project Engineer in Plumbing who will work closely with the Project Manager and will be responsible for the technical coordination of assigned projects. Responsibilities: Ensure clear and consistent communication among project team members, clients, architects, and vendors. Contribute to estimating, scheduling, and design within the design-build process. Write proposals, memos, subcontracts, change orders, and other project-related documents. Coordinate and participate in internal and external meetings. Perform takeoffs, obtain vendor and subcontractor quotes, compile bid estimates. Manage job progress, interpret technical plans and specifications. Oversee purchasing and delivery processes, and financial management of the project. Handle job closeout processes and commissioning. Collaboratively ensure all issues are communicated and resolved. Qualifications: BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is required. Mechanical and/or related engineering concentration is strongly preferred. Demonstrated career progression in project engineering and oversight. Proficiency in MS Office. Experience in JDE, IFS, BidTracer, Bluebeam, FastEst, Smartsheet, Box, or similar is preferred.
