Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong attention to detail to work on a multi-billion dollar new terminal project at JFK Airport. The Project Engineer will be a part of the quality control team and responsible for following up on non-conformance issues, coordinating inspections and providing assistance to the existing quality control group on the project. This is a project-based assignment scheduled to go on for the next 5-6 months.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain the project's Quality Control (QC) plan and procedures.
  • Inspect materials, workmanship, and site conditions to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Document all inspections, tests, and quality-related activities using standardized reporting forms.
  • Coordinate third-party testing and inspections as required.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving quality issues in collaboration with the quality control group.
  • Monitor safety practices in conjunction with the Safety Officer to ensure work is performed safely and to standard.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant construction experience.
  • Prior PANYNJ or aviation experience is a plus.

Salary: $85,000-$120,000
