Propulsion System Diagnostic Software Validation Engineer Job Summary:

Our client in Troy, MI is seeking a Propulsion System Diagnostic Software Validation Engineer for a contract position.

What you get to do The Propulsion System Diagnostic Software Validation Engineer will develop test specifications, execute diagnostic testing for propulsion system ECUs, and collaborate with various teams to validate diagnostics. Responsibilities include developing test cases, automating tests, analyzing data, and participating in Agile processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Software, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).

At least 5 years of experience in system modeling, test automation, and reporting.

Experience with low and high voltage systems.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Specific experience with control systems, vehicle components, vehicle communication protocols, and relevant tools and scripting languages.
