Quality Engineer Hybrid Cloud

Overview CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer Hybrid Cloud opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.
Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: 12 months
Duties: Develop and execute automated and manual test plans for Hybrid Cloud solutions
Design, implement, and maintain test cases for REST APIs using tools such as Java, Selenium, and the Karate Framework
Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure product quality and functionality
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues throughout the development lifecycle
Participate in Agile development ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Ensure adherence to best practices in testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Skills: Proficiency in Java and Selenium for automated testing
Strong knowledge of REST API testing and validation techniques
Hands-on experience with the Karate Framework for API automation
Familiarity with manual testing methodologies and defect tracking tools
Experience working in Agile development environments
Understanding of cloud technologies and Hybrid Cloud architectures is a plus
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality engineering
Proven experience with Java, Selenium, REST API testing, API automation, and Karate Framework
Experience in both automated and manual testing practices
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
