Exposure to diverse operations including logistics, supply chain, and vendor quality
Work directly on product improvement, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives
Gain visibility with plant-level and corporate stakeholders
How You Will Make An Impact
Manage and track plant-level quality systems, including corrective action requests and nonconforming material reports
Lead containment and root-cause analysis activities to eliminate recurring issues
Conduct and participate in Six Sigma and continuous improvement projects
Drive compliance with customer and internal quality standards across product development
Audit processes and systems, support change management initiatives, and ensure proper documentation
Collaborate with purchasing to improve supplier quality
Act as a quality-focused resource and advisor across engineering, operations, and logistics teams
Are You a Quality Engineering Rock Star?
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain (Manager's preferred background)
3+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, logistics, or related operational disciplines
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze root causes, recommend corrective actions, and prevent reoccurrence
Proven experience with:
Statistical analysis and quality tools (SPC, capability studies, LPA)
APQP and PPAP processes
Audit procedures and compliance practices
Excellent cross-functional communication, especially with external vendors/suppliers via phone and email (Manager emphasizes this as essential)
Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO, AIAG manuals, and internal audit practices
Ability to work collaboratively, manage conflict diplomatically, and maintain accountability
High attention to detail, data-driven mindset, and a proactive approach to process improvement
