Responsibilities: · Maintain quality control systems · Identify required specifications per customer print, determining an appropriate level of variation and monitoring quality assurance rates · Design automated testing systems and quality control workflows to improve the efficiency of the quality assurance process · Collect data about instances of product errors and investigation of possible solutions by troubleshooting the manufacturing or design process · Document initial quality standards and the actual quality of products during production · Find defects, help determine the causes of those defects, and assist to create resolutions · Teach production staff how to use effective quality controls and supervise outcomes · Work closely with design and production teams to solve problems. · Respond to questions about how to achieve quality goals and implement changes to reduce the instance of human or machine errors Duties: · Determining quality improvement factors · Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of the manufacturing processes, products, and production equipment · Making sure processes adhere to quality standards · Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data · Programming computerized measuring equipment, such as CMM, Keyence, and GMM
Skills and Qualifications: · Strong knowledge of relevant software, quality assurance methods, measuring tools, gages, and quality manufacturing processes · Excellent written and verbal communication · Strong Math Skills · Knowledge of metals machining · Attention to detail · Analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability · Strong interpersonal skills · Ability to handle stress · Capable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment · Ability to switch between tasks easily Educational Requirement: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering · Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) · Four (4) or more years of quality engineering experience ***wage based on experience
