Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3 years of mechanical and/or quality engineering experience; or 7 years of mechanical, and/or quality engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of fluid systems and contamination control in a production environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with lab testing procedures, cleanliness standards, and equipment monitoring.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and lab instrumentation.
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Self-starter possessing strong initiative and teamwork skills.
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others
- Strong organizational, planning and follow-up skills
- Strong computer skills and good knowledge of engine mechanics and tools, including design, usage, repair and maintenance
- Good knowledge of production processes and quality control techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours or shifts
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
- Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
Work Environment
1. Primarily office and lab environment, safety glasses and safety shoes required in the plant and lab areas.
2. Occasional lifting of diesel engine components (30 lbs.)
3. Up to 10% travel to various MTU business offices worldwide, including visits to MTU Distributors, direct customers, or OEM for the purposes of investigation, reporting and process development
