Job Details
Responsibilities
Own product quality across the full lifecycle - from development to production and end-of-life Manage all quality-related customer communications including complaints, corrective actions, and follow-ups Lead APQP quality functions: MSA, PPAP, gage studies, capability studies, print reviews, etc. Ensure compliance with TS16949/ISO 9001 standards through document updates, user training, and audits Conduct and document internal QMS audits and support external 2nd party audits Champion continual improvement initiatives including scrap analysis, CI programs, and lean tools Support production by training staff in quality systems and methods Interface with customers for onsite visits, audits, launches, and issue resolution Maintain quality documentation and records in line with QMS requirements
Requirements
Technical training in CMM, measurements, and SPC Ability to analyze manufacturing processes and make independent decisions Self-starter with strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration Experience with quality documentation, audits, and continuous improvement practices Internal auditing experience (minimum 2 system audits/year required)
Nice to Haves
Automotive manufacturing background Strong understanding of injection molding processes APQP and PPAP experience Customer-facing quality engineering experience Experience with metrology labs and external testing coordination Exposure to German manufacturing or multinational environments
