Who We Are:
We have operations in Saint Louis, Missouri, Huntington Beach, California, and Milford, Connecticut, serving local, national and international customers, both military and commercial. The company supplies platform controls, aircraft components, liquid oxygen equipment, and emergency breathing equipment to its customers.
Position Summary:
Responsible for conducting ongoing analysis of the production process inputs and outputs to ensure that customer (internal and external) quality requirements are being achieved. The position also supports supplier FAI review, Corrective Action, and Source Inspection.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Works with engineers and organizational teams to produce products on schedule that meet quality requirements. Perform Root Cause Corrective Action and assist other departments in the completion of their Corrective Actions as needed. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions. Ensures product quality by directing and checking the work of team members through product testing. Perform First Article Inspection in accordance with AS9100. Participates in all phases of product development. Maintains the quality and consistency of the organization's products. Reviews quality standards, tolerances, and engineering changes. Evaluates engineering changes for rework of parts and subassemblies. Analyzes engineering specifications and manufacturing processes. Develops test plans and automated testing tools. Investigates and analyzes quality problems, recommends solutions, and ensures corrections are made. Ensures quality standards of products and materials through testing. Reviews and analyzes customers' scope of services. May train team members as needed. Execute and assist with internal and external audits. Requirements Minimum of Bachelor's degree in engineering required, 0-3 years of experience in a quality related position. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. The pay for this position starts at a minimum of $64,000 annually when the minimum job requirements are met and goes up based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications in a similar role. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance.
