Elevate Semiconductor is looking for a Quality and Yield Engineer to join our growing team in San Diego and be a key player in delivering the benefits of optimized product quality, and test yields. The devices developed by Elevate are complex analog devices (large analog, small digital content). As we drive business growth in the product ecosystem, Quality and Yield engineer is expected to drive yield improvement activities and quality management system improvements. Responsibilities Own customer RMAs, failure analysis, quality inquiries, and associated problem-solving Execute yield enhancement and management projects across a portfolio of complex analog ICs Drive operations related quality initiatives such as dual source qualifications, site transfers, design related issues, and yield issue resolution Own manufacturing process quality issue disposition and resolution at wafer fab, assembly and test facilities Develop and maintain Python scripts to extract, parse, and consolidate complex datalogs, ensuring efficient handling of large datasets. Implement advanced parsing for grouped fields, expand inline notes, and generate structured, analysis-ready outputs for reporting. Own test data analysis, fault isolation and physical failure analysis of returned materials (RMA) Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define corrective actions, implement process improvements, and prevent recurrence. Requirements Minimum Requirement of B.S.E.E. with 3+ years’ of direct product/quality/yield engineering experience Experience in silicon characterization, and system level troubleshooting Python scripting and development of data analysis and administration tools Proven analytical problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex technical problems General knowledge of semiconductor wafer manufacturing processes, and assembly Ability to operate with a continuous improvement mindset, and deliver on commitments

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$140,000.00. Please note: While a salary range is provided, the final compensation will depend on your experience, skill set, and how well you're able to highlight your background throughout the interview process.
