Apex is seeking a Regional Maintenance Engineer to oversee engineering operations, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance across 5–7 designated plant territories within the Northeast. This role requires 100% travel within the assigned region and plays a critical part in maintaining performance, safety, and reliability standards across all facilities. What your day will look like: Oversee the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of all laundry processing equipment. Work closely with plant management to identify and plan necessary maintenance. Provide technical expertise in equipment installation, wiring, and operational controls. Must have knowledge in several of the following mechanical & electrical systems PLC, PC, and electronic controls Pneumatics & hydraulics Steam and thermal fluid systems

Responsible for the safety, reliability, and performance of plant systems. Lead and support the engineering team, promoting teamwork and creative problem-solving. Ensure all personnel follow OSHA safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out and confined space procedures. Must be able to manage time well and handle multiple priorities. What we are looking for: 8+ years of management and industry experience. Engineering degree preferred Experience in the commercial laundry industry required. Must be flexible—schedule may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays to support 24/7 operations. Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office 365. Can read blueprints and schematics.
