NJ electrical contractor seeks experienced REVIT Electrical Engineers for their growing business. MUST have previous experience working for an electrical contractor. Salary up to $160k including robust medical/dental package Extensive Experience in Electrical Design & Coordination, including: Electrical systems from service entry to final distribution (LV systems, Fire Alarm, CCTV, Lighting, Controls, etc.) Layout and coordination of electrical rooms, feeders, cable trays, and branch circuits Coordination of power and low-voltage systems with other trades using BIM and Navisworks Strong Proficiency in 2D and 3D Modeling & Shop Drawings, including: Producing buildable shop drawings directly from 3D models Generating coordinated rack profiles, box layouts, and wall/slab penetration plans Creating lighting control shop drawings and interpreting vendor risers Construction Field Knowledge, including: Translating models into field-ready documents for prefab and installation Coordinating with electricians and project teams onsite Familiarity with NEC-compliant installations Electrical Calculation and Design Skills, including: Branch circuit sizing Voltage drops calculations and feeder sizing Conduit fill and box sizing Project Experience: Experience with commercial building projects (required) Software Proficiency: REVIT detailed shop drawings is REQUIRED Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (preferred)
