This position is located in Fort Worth, TX.
You will be the Senior Staff RF Engineer / Senior Staff Hardware (HW) Design Engineer for the Simulation & System Labs (SSL) F-35 HW Design group. This team is responsible for developing and integrating the Simulation HW Lab environments for the F-35 customers. This includes the Man-In-The-Loop and Hardware-In-The-Loop Lab applications for both F-35 and Advanced Development Programs (ADP) System Integration Lab projects.
What you will be doing:
As the Senior Staff RF & HW Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, procuring, testing, and installing hardware electronic equipment for Man-In-The-Loop and Hardware-In-The-Loop Lab applications for the F-35 and ADP projects. Your responsibilities will include: providing technical leadership for various System Integration lab projects, leading new proposals, creating Basis of Estimate (BOE), performing systems requirements analysis, providing project EVMS status/coordination, leading customer/product reviews, performing power calculations, performing RF Link Budget, good understanding of RF over Fiber, test and integrate RF and electrical systems, leading electrical design of Lab infrastructure including Facility Power Distribution, Aircraft PME Interfaces, Simulation Cockpits, Image Generators, I/O systems, Audio/Visual equipment, Data Recording, Host Computer assemblies, and Network equipment, designing interconnect interfaces for Fiber Channel, 1394 I/F, 1553 I/F, Ethernet, Discrete, and Serial Buses, creating electrical wiring design, electrical schematic capture, electrical 2D drawings, documenting electronic parts lists definition, configuration management, procurement, leading Vendor Coordination, working as the HW fabrication liaison, leading HW checkout and equipment troubleshooting, leading Lab HW integration and delivering.
You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired skills:
MS OFFICE, MS VISIO, experience in Electronics equipment troubleshooting. Experience with Electronics design, assembly, and checkout. Experience with interpretation/development of Electrical Wiring Diagrams/Schematics and Parts Lists. Experience with proposals, BOE, ROM. EVMS basic knowledge and experiences. Experience with requirements analysis. Experience with RF Link Budget. Experience with Power calculations. Experience with RF over Fiber. Experience with RF related integration & test.

Ability to work remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule Information:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Work Schedule:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $139,600 - $246,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
